My theory is that Song in this photo has a bit of Fat Ronaldo look to him. And this means NS has flashbacks to his own 'mistakes' with convincing ladyboys and he lashes out at Song in response. Understandable

There's no doubt about the reversal of form, but what reason would you guess? If it's simply his head and nothing else, then that makes this deal riskier than signing an injured player, because it suggests that he could go off the boil any time at all, regardless of whether he's over the injury.
I still think it's much more likely explained by the fact that he had an injury that was steadily getting worse......at least that's is the best possible reason for us right now, as long as the operation is a success.

Lily... I've seen blind footballers with one leg be able to pass a ball 5 yards to a team mate... if he was that bad he would have had the op there and then... like I said his movement and his ability to get around did not look diminished... it was just his shit passing and ball retention... it was just a shocking reversal of form

Surely a niggling injury is the most likely explanation for that.

I don't think he is saying he doesn't believe Song had an injury issue and needed an op, more so that he doesn't believe it was to blame for his rapid loss of form after Xmas. As pointed out by the bit about suddenly not being able to pass 5ft to a team mate.

NS
If you don't believe th einjury problem, what do you think he just had an operation for?
I'd rather believe the injury reason for loss of form rather than the idea many preferred to believe, which was that his form turned to shit just because he was rested for the Chesea game. If he was so tempramental that he could go from excellent to terrible just because his boss decided not to use him for one match, I wouldn't be so interested in resigning him.
It's all about the floating chip of bone they operated on. It had been bugging him for a while and caught up with him. It was either in his knee or ankle: I can't quite remember.

Not sure I swallow this injury malarkey... look like he was getting around teh pitch OK post Christmas.... not sure what type of injury stops you making 5 yard passes to team mates...?? His ball retention and passing was fucking abysmal post Xmas....

Sold - Yep. Happy to have him back, but like I say I don't get the hero worshipping on here, post christmas the fella only ever passed to the other team and then started sulking when he was rightly taken off. But still, fresh start all around, etc.

Happy to have him back, but for me he still has a lot to prove. Some of his performances post Christmas were simply pathetic. Let's not pretend this fella is some WHU legend, coz he is nowhere near.

Are we sure that is Alex Song? Looks more like Dwayne Dibbley from Red Dwarf

Good stuff. Good move by the club, even if it's just to keep their dad here. Hopefully they have a bit of his talent, though.

Great signing - and a good deal, too.
I'm pleased with all three of the signings today, and the deals and fees involved.
We know what Song brings to the table, and he significantly improves the quality available to us in midfield.
Moses adds pace and skill out wide and (at a push) upfront, and will give us another real threat on the counter-attack, particularly away from home.
Jelavic is a top-class finisher and although he's ageing, I think that Bilic will know how best to use him and how to get the best out of him. He's managed Jelavic for years.
